Role Overview
The successful candidate will work as part of a team and provide high quality customer service that consistently achieves predetermined turnaround and quality standards, in order to satisfy the requirements of the Life Assurance business in the German market.
What you will help us to achieve
Processing
• To carry out basic Policy Alterations and Premium Collection functions across all products – Change of address, change of beneficiary, change of bank details etc. – assigned to you as per the business needs.
• To prioritise your workload in line with team targets and react positively to ever changing business demands.
• To participate in the improvement of Policy Alterations and Premium Collection workflows and procedures.
Quality Management
• To ensure accuracy in all written correspondence to clients and brokers as well as in updating the system.
Customer Service
• To provide excellent customer service to our clients and sales partners, solving problems swiftly and preventing unnecessary delays.
Training
• To keep up to date on all technical aspects of the job – products, procedures, compliance and legal issues – attending any training sessions.
Relationship Management
• To build positive and professional working relationships with our colleagues in all locations, as well as with other internal departments such as Underwriting, Actuarial, Customer Accounts, Claims Admin.
What you will need to be successful in the role
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
• Good computer skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office essential.
• Fluency in German (written and verbal) and basic English skills essential.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal), prioritisation and organisation skills essential.
• Demonstrates market knowledge.
• Proven ability to work to deadlines essential.
• Attention to detail and quality focus essential.
• Flexibility and the ability to balance customer and company interests essential.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
• Has demonstrated the ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative in the past desirable.
• Previous experience in customer service / insurance / financial industry/AI desirable.
