Role overview

 

European Technology is at an important stage in its evolution. There is a need to bring market leading speed, agility, cost efficiency and risk mitigation to enable the delivery of strategies across the European businesses. To respond to and meet this challenge a new strategy and enabling organisation is being created.

The Office of the CIO (OCIO) is being introduced to support strategic direction, governance, and oversight across the European business segment. 

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Strategy and Controls, Europe, this new role will support the Cyber Strategy and Controls Department vision and strategy and assist with strategy development, delivery of the implementation of risk and security culture programs of work and cloud.
 

What You will help us achieve

 

1.    To support the Culture and Awareness programs in their development, including annual awareness for risk and security, cyber month.
2.    To ensure programs of testing are executed to agreed schedules including phishing simulations, red team, and IT general controls.
3.    Governance of business led testing including application penetration testing.
4.    Development of metrics and key risk indicators (KRI) for domains that the department are responsible for.
5.    Provision of Cyber and Risk Subject Matter expertise to the European Organisation.
6.    Analysis of Cyber and Risk information from internal and external sources and action plans / communications activities and briefings are developed.
7.    Support to OCIO and CTS Functions in matters relating to Cyber and Risk.
8.    Development of process and procedurals documentation for department.
 

What you will need to be successful in the role

 

1.    Proven track record of working in Security and Risk departments.
2.    Proven track record of delivery and supporting / sponsoring security projects.
3.    Holder of role will have current security qualifications (CISSP, CISM).
4.    High level of experience in security methodologies and understanding of security technologies.
5.    Experience in security controls, on premise and cloud.  
6.    Experience in conducting control testing.
