Role Accountabilities

•    Build a PMO Community of Practice across European Technology to support the standardisation of processes, templates and ways of working liaising with our Global team in Canada where applicable
•    Ensure Project Delivery Processes are standardised and optimised, including the research of new delivery practices which could enhance the delivery of change across the Technology organisation
•    Establish Change Delivery Framework at the European Technology level ensuring appropriate governance standards and quality metrics are applied and measured
•    Establish Clarity as the Portfolio and Projects system of record across the European Businesses
•    Ensure Governance models are fit for purpose and delivering value and improving visibility of Change across Europe and facilitating quick decision making at Senior Stakeholder levels
•    Standardise Reporting Dashboards and Provide Regular Reporting of all European Technology programmes and own the collation for reporting of all Strategic programmes
•    Responsible for conducting QA Audits across European Technology to ensure the Change Delivery Framework is being applied 
•    Develop Health inspection criteria to determine Programme and Portfolio status ensuring early intervention for underperforming portfolios
•    Embed the Strategic Portfolio Management Tooling across European Technology ensuring User Readiness and Adoption is supported with training and ongoing support  
•    Support the improvement of the Portfolio Tooling set (Clarity) by managing a backlog of Product enhancements across European Technology 
•    Drive standard application of Benefits Realisation across the European Technology portfolio

Candidate Profile

  • Experience of leading a PMO or similar Governance function preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and associated Governance Frameworks
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven track record of the full Delivery Lifecycle
  • >7 years experience delivering large complex programmes and projects in an Enterprise setting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communicator with strong networking skills with ability to influence and persuade and manage change across a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge stakeholders and peers to achieve best outcomes for European Technology and the Business

Leadership Skills

•    Mobilise and Motivate PMO Community of Practice across European Technology to ensure common standards are adopted and embedded
•    Work to identify and secure relevant resources to support the timely completion of templates and deliverables
•    Ability to lead experienced practitioners to drive successful outcomes 
•    Creates an environment of accountability amongst PMO community to drive standards and performance of portfolios
