Role Overview
- This is a two-year training programme, and you will work across different areas of European Technology supporting and transforming 16 unique lines of business in the Canada Life Group.
- To support you on the programme you will be assigned a mentor to help you settle and ensure that you are set up for success with us.
- We are big on personal development so you will be encouraged to gain further qualifications that will assist you in developing and embedding your knowledge on our technology focused areas.
The Department
CTS runs, maintains and ensures availability and security of all the systems and infrastructure underpinning total activities of all the European businesses including each of the Irish Life lines of business, CLE, CLUK and the Reinsurance business. Within this line of business there are 16 distinct business units, each of which has its own individual set of technology platforms.
The overall estate comprises of over 2800 servers, over 1500 TB of data (including sensitive customer medical and financial data), 3 Data Centres, thousands of end point devices and a complex network infrastructure. In addition, direct service and support is provided to more than 7000 end users though a dedicated multi language service desk.
