Role Overview
In this role you will be responsible for, the configuration and holistic design of our SAAS configuration (master structures, data, security model, workflows, rules) mainly in our SAP Success Factors landscape. You will handle the complex landscape of systems/components with multiple integrations across multiple environments (cloud and on prem). You will conduct requirements analysis and capture, estimation, design, configuration, unit testing and prepare deployment of innovative solutions and changes in accordance with the Company’s standards. This role is also a technical lead for the team, you will be responsible for key design decisions, as well as guiding our team members in technical matters, supervising system modifications and oversight of sustainment tasks, including remediation steps on production issues. While Succes Factors will be your primary responsibility, you will have the opportunity to work across a varied and large application landscape and will play a crucial role in the development of system applications, as well as front line support.
Team Background
• This role sits within our Business Applications team and reports to our Business Applications Manager.
• This team has responsibility to provide IT services for both shared and corporate solutions directly to the end customer within the European entities and within the central functions of European Technology.
• The solutions range from on-premises business applications, SAAS solutions, IT tools to bespoke development of applications, data platforms, integrations and automations of business and IT processes.
More specific responsibilities will include
As Snr. Cloud Configuration Developer this role will involve:
• Working on, and providing oversight and guidance on, break/fix production support across our global application landscape.
• Interact with colleagues and clients to lead the development and agreement of requirements, using the appropriate tools and techniques.
• Performing detailed system and process analysis for new features and usability options across our application landscape.
• Agree and document designed IT solutions that meet agreed requirements, ensuring that they are in line with relevant standards and are consistent with IT strategy.
• Perform, and support the local admins, in system configuration changes, that are compliant to our standards.
• Design, build and implement new integrations, and continual efficiencies review of existing ones.
• Collaborate with the project leads to ensure projects are delivered to schedule and within budget.
• Engagement with cloud service providers in relation to technical configuration solutions and integrations.
What you will need to be successful in the role
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• A third level IT qualification.
• Core IT tools of the trade including SQL, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, TestRail.
• SAAS specific certifications such as SAP Success Factors ERP HCM / SAP Integration Suite Certifications.
• Significant experience working in a SAAS Cloud Configuration / IT Developer role.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of SAAS implementation and software development life cycles.
• Significant experience in handling complex landscape of systems/components with multiple integrations and understanding of end-to-end data flows.
• Integration methodologies knowledge and experience of implementing different integration patterns.
• High level of knowledge of languages such as JavaScript, databases and environments.
• Multi skilled and capable of working in many different parts of the software development life cycle at the same time.
• Ability to work within deadlines and to service level agreements.
