Role Overview

Employer Solutions is Ireland’s leading provider of integrated employee benefits through pensions, protection, health insurance and wellbeing programmes.

 

This Marketing Specialist role sits within the Employer Solutions marketing team and will report to the B2B Marketing Manager. The marketing team is responsible for developing strategic and creative communication campaigns to position Irish Life as the partner of choice for employers and affinity groups – working closely with corporate sales teams to support corporate acquisition and retention objectives.

 

The successful candidate will play a critical part in creating and executing B2B marketing campaigns and activating our strategic sponsorships, with tracking and measurement of same.

 

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, energetic and collaborative. You should be agile and adaptable, with the proven ability to take initiative, work effectively on individual projects and as part of a team.

 

Knowledge and experience of working on both above-the-line print assets and below the line digital assets and marketing collateral is a must for this role, together with well-honed project management skills. You will create, deliver and maintain Irish Life and Employer Solutions materials that promote the market leading propositions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of key marketing campaigns and activities that drive the business objectives of being a trusted advisor to employers to attract and retain talent by creating and delivering strong workplace benefits packages for their employees.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop, deliver and evaluate effective annual, integrated marketing plans for Employer Solutions that evidence clear value for money and commercial return on investment.
  • Work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the marketing campaigns and business goals.
  • Support, drive and evaluate key marketing events and strategic partnerships.
  • Production and ownership of high-quality marketing content with a primary B2B audience, for multiple channels including email, social, website, video, corporate presentations and advertising.
  • Drafting and building EDM campaigns, including post campaign evaluation.
  • Help create strong marketing proof points for our products e.g. market and industry-leading thought leadership content, customer success stories, website content and brochureware.
  • Provide regular analysis and reporting to monitor the effectiveness of the content created.
  • Maintain and review existing product literature on an ongoing basis to ensure literature continues to be fit for purpose. 
  • Support the broader marketing team on business-as-usual deliverables and key projects.
  • Ensuring marketing materials are aligned with brand guidelines and compliant with regulatory requirements.

 

More specific responsibilities will include

 

  • A 3rd level degree and / or relevant professional qualification in marketing.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a marketing and communications role with demonstrable experience in developing, delivering and measuring marketing communications, preferably in financial or professional services.
  • Direct experience in B2B marketing is highly desirable, preferably in financial services
  • Strong knowledge and experience of email platforms and CMS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with creative and technical writing experience
  • Highly motivated and driven with an ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience of strong internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Team player with strong people skills.
