What You’ll Do
• Assist with operational risk management tasks and maintain our risk system.
• Test and improve business controls, and help deliver our Risk and Control Self-Assessment programme.
• Support the development and reporting of risk metrics.
• Get involved in the Internal Capital and Risk Assessment (ICARA) and operational risk scenario planning.
• Help roll out risk policies and strategies, and prepare quality reports for senior management and the Board.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in risk or oversight roles in financial services, or operational roles in investment firms is a plus but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Power BI, Flow automate, Forms would be an advantage but not essential.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organised, and a great communicator.
• Relevant qualifications are a bonus, but a positive attitude, a genuine interest in and understanding of the importance of risk management, as well as a willingness to learn are essential.
