Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen to join the Client Services Team in Keyridge.

 

This team is responsible for processing client monies for pension clients, responding to client queries and reporting to clients, their consultants and auditors on investment management and fund performance. The team is also responsible for the appropriations function, ensuring the accurate and timely instruction to the Fund Management Team of all client monies received through a variety of channels. 

 

The Client Services Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our clients both directly and through their consultants and auditors, whilst leading and developing the Client Services team

What you will help us to achieve

The key responsibilities will include:

 

•    Lead, develop and motivate the Client Services team (currently four specialists) providing ongoing coaching, support and performance management.
•    Strive to develop and maintain excellent service relationships with Keyridge's clients, administrators and consultants.
•    Oversee the processing of client monies for pension clients, ensuring adherence to agreed daily deadlines and service standards.
•    Manage the issuing of allocation statements and audit letters within strict deadlines, ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality.
•    Provide senior oversight of responses to a broad range of client and consultant queries and information requests within agreed service standards.
•    Oversee the processing of unit appropriations, ensuring accurate and timely instruction to the Fund Management Team and co ordinating large fund moves with other business divisions.
•    Work closely with Portfolio Management, Fund Management, Treasury and other internal teams to ensure all client monies are released for trading within agreed daily deadlines.
•    Own daily control and reconciliation reporting and oversee weekly reconciliations of unit positions across all relevant business divisions, ensuring robust controls and timely issue resolution.
•    Ensure that all procedures are fully documented, maintained and kept up to date, embedding best practice and strong risk management.
•    Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance client experience and drive operational efficiency.
•    Develop and maintain management information (MI) for Client Services, using data and dashboards to monitor service levels, capacity and risk.
•    Contribute to commercial decision making by understanding the cost of providing services and how these compare with competitors' offerings.
•    Represent Client Services at relevant governance forums and provide regular status updates to Senior Management on activity, risks and key metrics.
•    Lead or contribute to cross functional projects and initiatives as they arise.

What you will need to be successful in the role

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

 

•    Proven experience in client services within investment management, asset management, fund administration or pensions administration.
•    Experience managing or leading a team in a client facing operational environment.
•    Strong interpersonal and telephone skills, with a clear commitment to client service.
•    Highly numerate with strong IT capabilities and proficiency in M365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong control and risk awareness.
•    Personal drive and energy to work consistently to a high standard when under pressure, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
•    Excellent planning, organising and analytical skills.
•    Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
•    An ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team, fostering a positive and high performing team culture.
•    Professional and enthusiastic manner, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
