This is an important role in the Strategic Partnerships Sales team, reporting to the Head of Strategic Sales. We are looking for a results-driven professional to strategically manage and develop a portfolio of existing and new Group Risk clients in Irish Life Employer Solutions.

Role Overview
• Proactively manage a portfolio of key Group Risk benefit clients with a view to strategically building a multi-product arrangement within your client network
• Develop a strategic framework for managing Group Risk clients that highlights the unique value Employer Solutions delivers to them
• Participate in sales opportunities, RFPs, new business pitches, prospect meetings acting as a subject matter expert for Employer Solutions on Group Risk benefits
• Working collaboratively with internal teams and external collaborators such as broker partners to showcase the unique USP’s of Employer Solutions particularly on Group Risk benefits and how the overall proposition meets their needs
• Taking accountability for accurate business development forecasting and client activity through daily use of CRM
• Feedback client and market insights on an ongoing basis to relevant teams across Irish Life to inform direction and position for commercial opportunities
• Support on broader Group Risk Benefits related projects & strategy
• Take responsibility for personal development by consistently and proactively improving personal sales ability, technical skills and industry knowledge
• The successful candidate will be part of a small team who are focused on sales across multiple product lines – therefore they will be required to support and collaborate across the full team agenda as required

• Market leading knowledge of the employee benefits markets with a particular focus on the Group Risk Market
• Excellent understanding of the people agenda within organisations and the ability to network across client portfolio to position for cross sell

Qualifications & Experience
• Suitably qualified subject to MCC requirements
• Third level degree in a relevant discipline is desired
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and/or managing client relationships
• Strong IT capabilities in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Fitness & Probity
This role is a ‘controlled function’ as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
