Role Overview

The Responsible Investment team develops and implements the ESG strategy for the investment firm. This includes support for all investment teams in terms of systematic methods of integrating ESG factors, sustainability research and stewardship across all asset classes and investment strategies. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analyst within Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM).
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee stewardship activities and advance analysis to improve company level voting and engagement actions.
  • Produce company level analysis to provide case studies for investment strategies across all asset classes.
  • Conduct research on sustainable investing industry trends, latest academic research and material ESG topics.
  • Keep abreast of responsible investing regulations and trends promoting best practices to appropriate investment teams.
     

Desired Knowledge/Experience/Skills

  • Strong passion for and understanding of sustainability and its implications 
  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Science/ Sustainability/ Finance or related field or equivalent practical experience;
  • Strong analyst skills with ESG research analysis
  • Knowledge of ESG regulations and initiatives (e.g., SFDR, TCFD)
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
