Role Overview

We are so excited to introduce a new opportunity for motivated and high achieving Graduates from different disciplines and backgrounds to start their careers here at Irish Life Group. Our Irish Life Group graduate programme offers a rotational experience across a range of different business areas at Irish Life. Each rotation is designed to help you develop the critical skills needed to accelerate your growth and career progression at Irish Life. 


Throughout the programme, you'll strengthen your business, behavioural, and technical capabilities while contributing to business-critical projects in a fast-paced environment. You will experience new opportunities, team collaboration, and develop the capabilities needed to deliver and support on our strategic goals by making real impact. The programme will offer experience across our Customer, Advice, Corporate Client, HR and AI teams. You will collaborate with different teams across our business, giving you a platform to learn, develop and help us build a better future. 

 

What you will experience on our programme

  1. Work effectively as part of a team to support delivery of projects or business objectives. 
  2. Enhance professional skills and gain experience in a relevant field of interest or expertise. 
  3. Gain experience across our tools and technologies, processes, methodologies and ways of working. 
  4. Expand knowledge base and technical ability. 
  5. Gain an understanding of how to manage your time, track your workload and objectives in a hybrid environment. 
  6. Complete a wide range of projects or tasks within appropriate timeframes. 
  7. Develop an understanding of many different business areas and the insurance industry. 

 

What you will help us to achieve

What you will need to be successful in the role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and a willingness to contribute to a team in order to achieve desired results. 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills 
  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude for solving complex problems, consistently delivering effective solutions 
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks in an efficient manner. 
  • Strong strategic mindset, constantly analysing industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges 
  • Strong technical proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) 

 

Entry Requirements:

  • Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a requirement to join the Irish Life Group Graduate Programme 
  • Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 30-month contract
