Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Change & Innovation Senior Leader to spearhead transformative initiatives, leveraging a blend of change management expertise, process optimisation, and technology integration to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Reporting to the Change & Innovation Executive Manager – Customer Solutions This role is responsible for leading specific strategic transformation initiatives, leveraging change management, process optimisation, and technology integration experience & skills to deliver key business outcomes. The person will lead engagement on these initiatives, manage key stakeholders, costs and lead a team of people to deliver.
The role will help ensure the programme of work and solutions identified are capable of achieving the strategic and business outcomes. It will collaborate on (and where applicable lead) in translating strategic and business objectives, goals and outcomes into business requirements, initiatives, projects and solutions. This will include modelling business processes (end-to-end) and contextualising complex business requirements.
In addition, this role will be a key player and lead out in our operational excellence strategy, in collaborating with cross functional teams to identify inefficiencies, design scalable solutions, and ensure smooth execution of best practices and design methodologies and principles.
What you will help us to achieve
• As the Change & Innovation Senior Leader, you will:
• Lead and execute strategic business transformation projects, driving innovation and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Manage, mentor and hold to account a team of business and process analysts.
• Lead in the establishment and embedding of process excellence across customer solutions
• Identify and implement process optimisation opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive the adoption of new and emerging technologies, ensuring seamless integration into business operations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful change management strategies that promote engagement and adoption.
• Provide leadership to the design, development, delivery and management of change communications to ensure effective stakeholder management.
• Analyse performance metrics and feedback to refine strategies and continuously improve transformation initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging creativity and empowering teams to think beyond the status quo.
• Support the Business owners in translating business and strategic objectives & goals into solutions that are capable of achieving them (individually as collectively – portfolio). Critical to this is understanding what the business intention is and ensuring this does align to the overall solution designed.
• On an ongoing basis evaluate solutions to determine the best use of technology and/or processes for meeting the existing and future business needs, while assessing and documenting the business impact that each choice provides.
• Work with the Technology Solutions Architect to ensure the necessary information is available to make an informed and robust solution proposal that meets existing and future needs of the business and our customers.
• Lead the modelling of business processes (end-to-end) and contextualising complex business requirements. Ensure decisions & changes are aligned with business strategy & that we are future proofing against our business and IT solutions.
• Work collaboratively with our various teams (including Business, Technology, Enablement) and working in partnership with the Technology Solutions Architect to ensure we develop/design the right solutions.
• In collaboration with the business owners, support in the development of the Business Readiness plans, ensuring the business units are prepared and equipped to operationalise their processes, transition into BAU, and achieve the targeted outcomes (benefits realisation – in line in business cases).
What you will need to be successful in the role
The successful candidate ideally should have:
• Has led in similar roles developing solutions across a large scale portfolio ensuring business stakeholders are aligned and engaged throughout the solution design process and delivery process.
• 8 Years + experience in Business Process Management, Program Management & Business Analysis & Design working in a highly regulated industry such as banking or insurance is advantageous, but other industry sectors will be considered.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
• Proven experience in leading change and innovation initiatives and agendas
• Strong expertise in process optimisation, business transformation, and emerging technology integration.
• Hands-on experience with change implementation projects.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
• A strategic mindset coupled with a practical approach to problem-solving and execution.
• A track record of delivering measurable results through innovation and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of change and process management methodologies is highly desirable
• Solution focused and has extensive experience in understanding and resolving business problems by creating effective solutions with business and IT stakeholders using a pragmatic approach.
• Critical problem-solving techniques and expertise in the analysis and design of modelling detailed business processes (end-to-end) and contextualising complex business requirements into robust business and IT solutions that can meet business goals and objectives.
• Critiquing and analysing solutions, planning, and managing complex sequencing across a significant roadmap of change and continuously reviewing ways of working ensuring efficient, effective, and transparent communication.
• A mindset capable of both strategic and operational thinking that enables the role to focus on the bigger picture as well as attention to detail.
• Ability to holistically examine business processes through business process mapping, effectively identify process improvement opportunities, creatively develop approaches for business problem solving and critically evaluate the trade-off between business value drivers and costs.
• A broad, organisation wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance.
