Role Overview

Irish Life Wellbeing is a health and wellbeing consultancy from Irish Life. Our mission is to partner with organisations on their biggest challenge, helping their employees lead healthier lives and supporting a culture where everyone can thrive. We are currently looking for a Senior Wellbeing Manager to lead our Wellbeing consultancy business. If you have experience of dealing with multiple senior stakeholders and significant industry experience this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Team Background

Irish Life Wellbeing is an inhouse expert led consultancy; creating, delivering and measuring programmes focussed on improving Mental Health, Sleep, Nutrition and Physical activity. We have hired a highly skilled team to drive the business forward and are looking for a high energy, client focussed individual to lead this team.

What you will help us to achieve


    Manage a team of experts in supporting their progression development and ambition to become leading experts, supporting positive behaviour changes in the health of the nation.
    Have oversight of the wellbeing strategy led out by a consultant team, for a portfolio of clients. 
    Design and deliver wellbeing consultancy services and program’s.
    Consulting with Senior Leaders across our client companies (e.g. HR Directors, Managers) to deliver a strategic wellbeing offer based on data and analytics
    Consult with internal Senior Leaders to identify new opportunities in Wellbeing to drive retention and attrition. 
    Bringing thought leadership to our business through research and expert partner insight. 
    Understanding market trends and insights to oversee and develop new wellbeing programmes to ensure improved delivery and client experience.
    Seeking out networking opportunities to promote the company’s product and services. 
    Ensure delivery of our service, acting as a clinical governance lead, from internal and affiliate experts. 

More specific responsibilities will include

    PDP/ objective setting and review for three reporting lines. 
    Part of the Wellbeing Snr Management team, ensuring our strategic goals are being met, client programmes/ providers and credibility is managed.
    Bring change to the Wellness Advisory Team.
    Support wider integration of Wellbeing across the other early preventative care services. 

What you will need to be successful in the role

Product knowledge
•    Health related qualification, MSc level or above. 
•    Knowledge and experience of managing key relationships with large clients of all industries. 
•    Strong demonstrable record in relationship management built up through relevant work experience.  Ability and experience in collaborating effectively with peers and colleagues.
•    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with a strong focus on delivering and exceeding client requirements and expectations.
•    Fully competent in management of complex programs. 
•    Ability to meet tight schedules and cost targets without compromising customer requirements.
