Growth Solutions Overview

 

The role of the Growth Solutions team is to be a catalyst for customer and business growth, working with colleagues across Irish Life Group to:  

 

  • Enhance customer experience and lifetime value. 
  • Use data and technology to deliver brilliant, personalised customer experiences, through Unify and the use of Gen AI, for example. 
  • Develop new innovation thinking and value streams to future proof our business. 
  • Manage our brand and reputation through advertising, sponsorship, media and social media relations, to make it easier for customers to engage with us. 
  • Drive meaningful societal impact though being a force for good in our business and in our communities.

More specific responsibilities will include

 

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the Society and Community Engagement Specialist will collaborate with the CSR Committee and community partners to deliver and support CSR initiatives, as well as the ILG Society Strategy. 

 

  • Programme Management:  Deliver and report on CSR and social impact programmes, working closely with other business units across the Group. 
  • External Stakeholder Engagement:  Work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, such as our staff charity partners, develop and support the impact of CSR initiatives including P-TECH, Time to Count, volunteering, Special Donations and the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs.  
  • Communication and Collaboration:  Build strong working relationships and collaborate with Irish Life teams to promote opportunities and impact under the Society Strategy, CSR and sustainability programmes.  
  • Social Impact Programmes:  Support the Sustainability Manager and wider Growth Solutions team in implementing projects to foster positive workplace and community environments; report on the impact within our local communities. 

 

What you will need to be successful in the role

 

The ideal candidate will have/be: 

 

  • Experience in supporting community and charitable engagements and working alongside not-for-profit organisations. 
  • Proven ability to deliver programmes with measurable outcomes. 
  • Effective communication, storytelling, and influencing skills across a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Leadership capabilities, with the ability to promote engagement in community initiatives. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills. 
  • Self-motivation, with excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
