Role Overview
To manage the oversight of service standards, operational best practices, people management and general development agendas across a number of teams in an operational function. Responsible for delivering excellent service and employee engagement for the team and for the business implementation of strategic initiatives with a strong focus on employee engagement.
Team Background
What you will help us to achieve
Manages a team of customer support managers to consistently deliver excellent service to customers
Develops and maintains excellent relationships with key stakeholders, customers and clients to support the delivery of the business objectives
Identifies efficiencies within the business to improve quality and reduce costs
Develops, drives and delivers key strategic initiatives
Oversees talent management & succession planning of the team to ensure skill transfer and cross functional capability to support customer needs
Manages the performance, career management process and talent success for the team
Coaches and mentors team members to ensure they have clear objectives and are motivated to achieve maximum potential.
Supports the Executive / Director to achieve strategic objectives and/or operational targets

Professional qualification relevant for role.
Excellent analytical skills to determine the level of services, the resourcing and capacity management to support the business.
Ability to analyse complex issues and to make recommendations and strategic decisions.
Excellent relationship skills with an ability to influence at all levels of management with a view to engaging them and creating buy-in to support common goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to challenge people effectively to improve performance and deliver
Significant leadership skills and people management skills.
Excellent business analysis skills and understanding of the insurance industry.
