Role Overview

The Advice Innovation team in Advice Solutions, requires a Business Analyst to facilitate the design and build of systems and processes. They will translate product vision and strategy into clear requirements for delivery, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives is shared with stakeholders. The role will work to deliver on our goals as we re-design our Advice journey.


This role will require engaging across many stakeholders including Financial Planning, Digital, IT, and ILFS strategy teams. You will run meetings/workshops to elicit requirements, and ensure that solutions are comprehensive and of high quality to meet stakeholder demands.

 

The role will require excellent communication and technical writing skills. 
  

What you will help us achieve

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Working with the Advice Innovation team to facilitate the design and build of systems and processes to deliver our Advice strategy.  
  • Works independently to understand stakeholder business problems.
  • Liaises with compliance on all initiatives that affect client data processing. 
  • Inputs into DPIA creation for new projects and ensure continuing compliance regarding PII.
  • Builds and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively with IT.
  • Co-ordinates and facilitates workshops and design sessions with cross-functional teams to map full customer and business journeys.  
  • Gathers and documents user journeys, testing requirements, and business processes.
  • Supports the IT development team during design and build phases to ensure that changes in requirements are communicated and adhered to.
  • Supports the QA team with testing requirements.
  • Supports the rollout of new initiatives; from users guides, to feedback sessions. 
  • Works directly with key stakeholders across Financial Planning, Digital Team, IT and ILFS strategy work streams.
  • A point of contact for technical queries across all our systems.
  • Tests systems to ensure they are working correctly.
  • Any other duties assigned by your manager.

What you will need to be successful in the role

The successful candidate will ideally have/be:

 

  • Very good attention to detail with the ability to map customer, systems and data journeys including highlighting gaps, and proposing solutions. 
  • An understanding of Financial Planning processes and systems, including CRM, and key customer-facing applications desirable.
  • Experience using tools such as jira or confluence to document requirements desirable.
  • An ability to use data to understand gaps and support changes.  
  • Documents requirements and use cases, with a customer and advisor focus. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent relationship & stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
